Alexander Valuation Group offers a range of appraisal and valuation services. These value-add services come standard with every valuation: diligent research, thorough analysis, and well-documented, unbiased opinions.

Our team will assist our client in appraising all property types and size of real estate assets from most small homes to the most complex multi- tenant properties. Our competency comes from years of completed projects and extensive practice in our market areas and a wide-ranging expertise in various property-types.
Compliance. Our team follows professional standards, including the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and state licensing boards. We are well versed in financial and tax reporting requirements, as well as estate planning and property tax assessment.
Market Value. Our team will consider the market value of the Fee Simple, Leasehold or Leased fee interests, as appropriate for each property.

We often assist attorneys in structuring an estate plan that will maximize the tax benefits for the client.

Our team has years of experience working with our clients, tax attorneys, and government agencies to provide Partial Interest Valuations. Also called Fractional Ownership or Discounting, our team’s extensive experience, thorough knowledge of IRS requirements and how the law applies to fractional interests, provides supported valuations for estate planning and government reporting.

Trial History

We have provided trial testimony for the past 18 years. We have provided pre-trial valuation services and rebuttals as well as appeared in court to support our clients and valuations. We have worked on over 100 cases and appeared in over 40 trials during that time. Deemed the most reliable and comprehensive appraisals by numerous state and federal judges, our testimony and valuations have been relied upon by both sides for the fair market distribution of assets.

In the state of California we have worked in civil cases in Los Angeles, Orange, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, San Diego County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, Santa Clara County, Sacramento County, San Francisco County, Alameda County, Butte County, Fresno County, Kern County.

In the state of Arizona we have worked in both Mohave County and Maricopa County.

Tax Agency.

Since 2010 we have provided over 50 tax appeal cases. We have developed an excellent reputation with those working for the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego, CA. We have successfully won our clients hundreds of thousands of dollars and won reversals on many cases. We routinely defend our client’s ownership Interests and win assessed base year valuations. We know the entire process from Assessor’s office, to Assessment Appeal Board, to the Auditor- Controller office, through the Treasurer’s office, and back to the client – and have helped hundreds of people navigate the extremely bureaucratic and confusing judicial system.
